Youth

We are wholly committed to our Church’s mission to love God, love others, and serve the world. Simply put, we want to see the Gospel transform the lives of our middle school and high school students here at Long Beach Alliance Church.

The Goal

Intentional growth in Christ is the goal. For all to be equipped with the knowledge of God’s Word and open to His Spirit, loved on and encouraged to serve in the local church and remain in deep Christ-centered friendships and community. Overall, that they might be further grounded in the identity, freedom, grace, and love only Christ provides—while having fun in the process! Our prayer is that Youth Group would prepare each student well for their life-long relationship with God and help them discover their unique call to impact the world for Jesus Christ!

Middle School and High School Students
WHO IS ALLIANCE YOUTH GROUP FOR?

Everyone!

YOUTH STUDENTS:

All middle schoolers (6th - 8th grade) and all high schoolers (9th - 12th grade). Whatever your story may be, we welcome you!

PARENTS:

Youth Group is also for you and supports you! We know this task of parenting can’t be done alone. Whether your child is still in elementary school or about to graduate high school, our desire is to come alongside you and partner with you in this wonderful season of your life as a youth parent.

CHURCH FAMILY:

We invite everyone in our fellowship to be praying for our youth. Ask God, “How would you have me pray for the youth here at LBAC?” God is so kind to hear our prayers! Feel free to reach out to office@lbac.org.

What to Expect

Each Youth Group gathering typically has a rhythm of prayer, fun activities, a time to worship God, and diving deep into His Word, as well as a time for engaging in lively and caring small group discussions. But more importantly than what we do, you can expect to be treated as one who is loved—as someone with inherent value, worth, and dignity as an image bearer of God. Overall, Youth Group is a safe space created with the intent to grow closer to God and one another.

Message for Youth

You are loved already. If God is calling you to come, I invite you to be open and just be willing to try! If you are feeling a bit intimidated to come by yourself, invite a friend to come with you. We would love to get to know you both!

Message for Parents

Our desire is for you and the rest of your family to feel just as cared for and loved on as your youth student. Perhaps God is calling your family to join our LBAC Family! God be with you as you look for a church to belong to in light of God’s will for your life and family.
